Our educational approach allows adolescents to grow in a nurturing and supportive community – a village. Students explore who they are, with whom they are connected, and their connection to the places in which they live. Our students develop internal and external points of connection (anchors) as they navigate the sometimes turbulent waters of adolescence and transition into adulthood. Our graduates leave The Anchor School (TAS) with the identity, confidence, self-awareness, and community they need to thrive in life beyond TAS. We accomplish this vision together by connecting our students and staff to self, to others, and to the world around us.
